COMPLEX GEOLOGICAL PROSPECTING OF DEPOSITS
- GEOETHICAL STANDARD
The complex geological research of useful ore deposits includes the study
of the favourable useful components, as well as the study of the rocks from the
cover and the sterile rock mass, accompanying the industrial ore-creation.
The complex geological research of deposits determines the completeness
of their study, and therefore determines the quality of the conducted research.
In this sense it can be considered a geo-ethical criterion.
From an ethical point of view, the deposits are to be equally and
sufficiently studied in terms of all useful components. To the contrary, the
insufficient, or almost absent complex study of the useful components in a
certain deposit implies low geo-ethics of his researchers and explorers.
The outlined thesis has been illustrated by examples from the study of
ore deposits on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
